About Andrea Pino Professional Make Up Artist

Marin County resident, Andrea Pino deals in extremes. She turns beautiful dancers and singers into serene beauties, but also transforms perfectly able-bodied actors into gruesome visages of violence. Pino's magic wand of choice is makeup, and as a freelance makeup artist for the past 20 years, she's worked in theater, opera and ballet. She's also done makeup for a host of major television shows and Hollywood films shot in the Bay Area, from "Trauma”, "Cosmos” and “Alcatraz” to "Milk", “Money Ball” and “Steve Jobs ". She teaches makeup to students majoring in motion pictures and television at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Andrea Pino is freelance make-up artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Member of IATSE local 706, Northern California since 1998. Working in commercial, web, film, tv, corporate, print and stage. Union/Non Union. She's worked many years for the San Francisco Opera and Ballet.
